Terms of Service

By accessing or using TetReel, FaceStatus, TET, Pointbasin, our websites, mobile apps, APIs, or any related service (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

TetReel is built for both individuals (citizens) and organizations (businesses). Access to features depends on the age you certify at sign-up and the laws of your country. We may require verifiable parental or guardian consent where the law requires it, and we may refuse or restrict access where local law sets a higher minimum age.

• Under 13: Not permitted. Accounts are not offered to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Where a specific market allows child-directed services with verified parental consent and child-specific protections, access is only available through that supervised path.
• 13 to 15 (Teen Creator account): Where permitted by local law and, where required, with verifiable parental or guardian consent. Accounts are private by default, direct messaging is limited (for example, restricted to mutual connections or disabled), personalized advertising is off, and sensitive or mature content is filtered. Monetization, payouts, TET redemption, wallet, live streaming, and business tools are not available.
• 16 to 17: Expanded social features with enhanced privacy and safety defaults, stricter content controls, and limits on personalized advertising consistent with local law. Monetization, payouts, wallet, and business or financial features remain disabled or limited.
• 18 and over: Full access, including monetization, TET wallet and redemption, business and creator tools, live streaming, and financial features, subject to KYC, AML, sanctions, tax, and other applicable requirements.
• Business, brand, and organizational accounts: Must be created and operated by an authorized representative who is at least 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and legally able to bind the organization. Access to advertising, monetization, and payout features is conditioned on the organization satisfying our verification, sanctions, and compliance checks.

You represent that the age and account-type information you give us is accurate, that you can form a binding contract, and that you are not barred from using the Services under any applicable law, including U.S. sanctions regulations. We may verify age at any time and may restrict, downgrade, or terminate accounts that misrepresent age or fail age-assurance checks.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, for keeping your credentials secret, and for the accuracy of information you give us. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including suspected fraud, abuse, sanctions exposure, or violation of these Terms.

You retain ownership of the videos, images, text, audio, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant First Model Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, publish, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, and otherwise use your User Content, in any media now known or later developed, for the purposes of operating, providing, improving, promoting, and developing the Services, including training and improving recommendation, moderation, ranking, and safety systems. This license survives termination for backups, legal, and aggregate analytics purposes. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content and to grant the license above, and that your User Content does not infringe, defame, or violate any third party right or law.

You will not: (a) post content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence; (b) harass, dox, stalk, or threaten anyone; (c) attempt to manipulate FaceStatus, the TET economy, rankings, follows, engagement, or rewards through bots, multi-accounting, click-farms, or coordinated inauthentic behavior; (d) scrape, mirror, or build derivative datasets from the Services without our written permission; (e) reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security or rate limit; (f) use the Services to violate sanctions, export controls, or any applicable law. We may remove content and suspend access at our sole discretion.

FaceStatus scores, reputation indicators, and any related analytics are opinion-based informational signals generated by automated systems and community input. They are not a credit score, background check, employment decision, or legal judgment of any person. You may not use FaceStatus outputs to make decisions about credit, housing, insurance, employment, or other consequential matters where automated decision-making is regulated. We disclaim all responsibility for decisions you or others make based on FaceStatus.

TET, Pointbasin points, badges, and any tokens, credits, or rewards exposed through the Services (“In-App Value”) are limited, revocable, non-transferable (except as we expressly permit) licenses to use features within the Services. In-App Value is not legal tender, not a deposit, not a security, not an investment contract, not backed by any government, and carries no monetary value outside the Services. We may modify, re-price, expire, freeze, claw back, or discontinue In-App Value at any time. Nothing on the Services is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You bear all risk of any purchase or holding of In-App Value.

Paid features are billed through our payment processors. All fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by mandatory consumer law (including EU/UK consumer rights), all sales are final and non-refundable. Chargebacks made without first contacting support@firstmodelinc.com may result in account termination.

The Services may link to or integrate third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for those services. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and all content we provide (excluding User Content), are owned by First Model Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice that complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to legal@firstmodelinc.com. Repeat infringers will be terminated.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; those exclusions may not apply to you.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRST MODEL INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US$100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless First Model Inc. and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (a) your User Content, (b) your use of the Services, (c) your violation of these Terms or any law, or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by final, binding, individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware, in English. YOU AND FIRST MODEL INC. WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access claims. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer laws override this clause, you may bring claims in the courts of your residence and the mandatory consumer laws of your country still apply.

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. Sections 4 (license), 7 (In-App Value), 10 to 15, and any clause that by its nature should survive, will survive termination.
